You are going to be fed up with my Valentine’s Day cards… Here is another one – another shaker card, almost the same design as the one I made last week here. I’m also submitting this card to the Impression Obsession challenge (the Cherub is an Impression Obsession die).
Here is the new card:
Details:
The card base and red front are both Stardream card stock (with a slight shimmer).
I cut the heart with a Lifestyle crafts “nesting hearts” die and cut the trim with the matching Lifestyle craft “Nesting Lace Heart” out of glitter Cardstock (DCWV). I used the same die that I used to cut the heart in the red card stock to cut out of the Lace heart in glitter CS, leaving just a thin trim to could be glued around the edges of the first heart…. I hope that makes sense. Basically, I cut the two hearts one inside the other, leaving just the outside trim.
The cherub Impression Obsession die DIE125-M was cut out of red card stock (Stampin’Up! real red CS). The “With Love” is cut out of glitter card stock with a die from Dee’s Distinctively IME-102.
The patterned paper behind the heart is from a package of Valentine’s card stock “Sweethearts” by Honky Dory Crafts (UK). The acetate piece behind the heart is from scrap packaging, and I glued the Cupid on the acetate. The sequins are from a mixture I bought at the dollar store. (I have ordered lots of sequins from Pretty Pink Posh, but they haven’t arrived yet…).

and last, but not least to Virginia’s View Challenge Blog here: Shaker Cards.
That’s it for now.

This is totally sophisticated and whimsical at the same time. I love the bits of bling and shine throughout. Great job on this and thank you so much for sharing your talents with us for this week’s Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
