Today is finally the day for the grand reveal of my Sew Along with the Fat Quarter Shop Shortcut Quilt Mini Charm Chocolates Quilt. It was so much fun to do – we used mini charm packs (little 2 ½” squares) to do all the chocolate boxes. If I had had more mini charms, I would have made my quilt bigger….

Here is my quilt:

Thanks to my husband Jim for being a good quilt holder!

And here is a view of the beautiful backing:

The fabrics are Snowberry by 3Sisters for Moda Fabrics

And another view of the quilt with the beautiful Aurifil threads I used to quilt it.

I am a beginner Free Motion Quilter, and I had fun doing this… but don’t look too closely…

I thought that my flowers in the corners were a little dull, so I added red Swarovski crystals in each corner.

It was a fun and easy pattern to make. You can get the free pattern on the Fat Quarter Shop Blog. And Kimberly, from the Fat Quarter Shop, does a quilt along video. You can view everything on the blog here: https://blog.fatquartershop.com/2017/11/shortcut-quilt-mini-charm-chocolates.html.  You can also see on the blog all the other quilts made by the other bloggers. A lot of beautiful quilts!
