WPlus9, Fresh Cut florals

I have bought this stamp set a last year after seeing it on Jennifer McGuire’s blog, but I never had a chance to try it.

So when Dawn from WPlus9 used it for the OnLine card class, I had to use it… I did 2 tries with the technique that she showed, you can see my results in the previous 2 posts on my blog. But I also wanted to copy the card that Jennifer had done last summer. And this is really what I did (no shame – her cards are so beautiful… 🙂 ). You can see her card here.

Here is my card:

Did I say that I love this stamp set? 🙂

Details:
The stamp set is by WPlus9 Fresh Cut Florals CL WP9FCF and I used the matching die set to cut the blooms.
The inks I used are by Stampin’Up, Heidi Swapp and a few by Hero Arts.
The flower pot is from a Taylor Expressions stamp set called Posh Posies. It was stamped with a Hero Arts ink Charcoal.
The background was created with a Heidi Swapp Stencil (chevrons) and Distress inks in Shabby shutters and Tumbled glass (applied with a sponge).
The greeting is from the Impression Obsession Hydrangea set (3123-XL) and was stamped on a LaLaLand Folding Banner (#8041) in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The side of the banner were sponged with Shabby Shutters Distress ink.
The green cardstock is by Stampin’Up.
I added little dots of glossy enamel in the middle of some blooms.
And to finish, I added Wink of Stella glitter over most of the blooms.

Thanks for visiting my blog.
Merci de votre visite.
