Today I would like to share this new watercolouring technique I have rediscovered.  I recently attended a craft show and Art Impressions stamps were “demoing” this technique.  Using stamps, inked with water based markers, you create your little scene and use a brush and water to smudge the lines of the stamped image.  Very easy and efficient with a little practice.  I have to say that I am hooked!

Here is a first of many of my attempts:

Ingredients:

Stamps: Art Impressions stamps 4605 Spring basket, 4052 Flower set, 4051 foliage set

Ink:  markers Marvy Le Plume markers, Ranger Archival black ink for greeting

Patterned papers: diecut with a view (DCWV)

Gold Cardstock: also DCWV

Dies:  circles by weRmemory keepers Quickuts circles 027940 and label for greeting:  Spellbinders, Butterflies:  Memory Box die

Greeting:  Penny black Heartfelt 30-286

Pearls: Stamping Up!

I would like to enter this card in the Simon Says stamp  Wednesday challenge: “Things that fly” (my little butterflies).

That’s it for now!
