(Very Big) Wedding card

My daughter Julie needed a “big” wedding card for her friend at work, that everyone could sign.  She looked through the cards I made before and chose this model.  I modified the design a bit, but basically it is the same card I already made.

Here is the new card:

Here is a close-up of the glitter patterned paper:

Card size:  7 x 11″

The patterned paper to make the cake is from a Wedding Pad (Me and My Big Ideas).  I made 3 rectangles, then rounded the corners to create the 3 layers.

The flowers are Prima (I overlapped many flowers to create this more bulky ones here).

The pearls are by Stampin’Up.  The green leaves were purchased in a “wrapping” store called “Emballage-tout” a few years back.  Not sure if they’re available now.

The greeting “Vive les Mariés” was done on the computer with font “Edwardian Script”.  It was cut with a Stampin’Up die “Bitty Banners #129267.

The gems on each layer of the cake were bought at my local Dollar store.

The greeting “Congratulations” (Hero Arts F3722) was stamped with Versamark ink and embossed with Gold Embossing Powder (Filigree Fine art Powder by Stampa Rosa – out of business).

The greeting was cut with a My Favorite Things Die (Banners).  (I cut it in the Big Shot twice to have the “flag” end on both sides).

All the cardstocks are Stardream. (shimmer cardstock)

That’s it!  Thanks for visiting my blog.  Merci de votre visite.
