Thank you with IO hydrangeas

A thank you I made with the matching Impression Obsession stamps and dies set. I used purple Archival ink to stamp the individual petals, then die cut them with the matching dies. Fun to make!

Here is the card:

I decided that if I’m taking the time to make cards, I might as well make 2 of each, one in French and one in English. I like this idea, I hope that I can keep up with it….

For the background, I used a stencil by Heidi Swapp, that I found at Michaels. I inked with Heidi Swapp dye ink that I applied with a sponge.
The cardstocks are all Stampin’Up.

The stamps and dies are all by Impression Obsession, except the “Merci” which is a stamp by Bonnidee and the flag die which is Sizzix by Karen Burniston.

By the way, I love the leaves, how the embossing shows so nicely on them. I will use those again with other flowers for sure! And I like the flowers on the English card better, they seem to have more subtle colours than the French one which is almost uniform… Will work on that for the next cards…

Thanks for visiting my blog.
Merci de votre visite.

Louise
