Teaching again!

My stamp store (Bonnidée) where I was teaching closed recently, so my teaching career there was over…. A new stamp and scrapbooking store (and beads store), called BBG is opening in Pointe Claire on Ste-Anne street (near where Bonnidée used to be on Lakeshore road).  And I will be teaching there!!! So I hope that if you live nearby that you will join me!!  Also, please come to grand opening of the store which will be on August 3rd, 2013.

My first class is done with the new Sizzix Pop ‘N Cuts (Window Label).  This die is so versatile, just changing the patterned paper gives you a completely different card and what’s great about it is that the front and inside of the card are created at the same time.  A very “wow” card, but that is easy to make.  The class is scheduled for Saturday August 31st and also on Wednesday, September 4th, both from 10:30 to 12:30.  The cost of the class is $30 and includes 1 bottle of Stickles glitter.  Also, big bonus, after the class, you get 10% off your total purchases that day.  If you plan on taking the class, you can also pre-order your dies in advance and receive a 20% discount.  You can call BBG to reserve your spot and order your dies at 514-674-3481.  BBG has a Facebook page (now mainly for beads, but watch for news about the new Stamping and Scrapbooking).  BBG Facebook Page

Here is the first card for my class:

Lily Pop N Cuts card for class

Fully opened:

Sizzix Karen Burniston Pop ‘N Cuts die Label Window #658372

For this die, I used the standard Sizzix Pop ‘N Cuts base #657802

I also used the Edge and Scroll die (in green on the card – to cover the back opening) Sizzix #658365

The second card:

Lavendar Pop N Cuts card wm

(sorry about the lines distortion, I guess it’s the camera angle… because they are straight on the card)

The card half-opened:

Lavender Pop N Cuts card half opened wm sml

And the card fully opened:

For this card, I also used the Sizzix (Karen Burniston) Pop N Cuts Label Window #658372

but for this one, I plan on using the New Wide base in class (5 x 5) #658378 – but I haven’t received mine yet, so this card is just slightly bigger….

I hope you can join me in class!

thanks for visiting my blog!  Merci de votre visite!

Hi, Louise, I found you through your comment on Karen Burniston’s blog, her sneak peek. When I had seen that you are from montreal, I had to come and visit another Canadian. Your pop-n-cuts cards are beautiful and very inspiring. I love making pop up cards, I love Karen’s dies.
Thank you for writing in English too, I don’t read French and speaking is tres petite. I will be visiting again.

Tu es vraiment dans ton élément avec les dies de Karen Burkinston.
