Penny Black Christmas cards

If you know my taste in stamps, you’ll know that I love Penny Black stamps.  Especially the Christmas ones, and most of all, the hedgehogs.  So I could not pass Christmas without making hedgehogs cards!!!

So here are my new Penny Black cards:

(the coloring on the bear looks better in person – that’s why I prefer alcohol markers 🙂

Card base:  Red Stardream

Patterned Paper:  October Afternoon Good Cheer:  Sugar Cookies

The candy border was cut with a Memory Box Die Holiday Goodie Border #98646 out of mirrored silver cardstock.  (I love this border, especially in the silver…)

Greeting:  Memory Box “Have Yourself a Merry little Christmas”

The image was colored Tombo Markers (but the face with Copics markers)

Snow:  Deco Art Snow writer sprinkled with glitter

The window in the card was cut with Nestabilities Square Die set


Second card:  Hedgehog on a tobaggan

Hedgehog Noel Magique wm sml,


Penny Black Clear Stamp Set    Christmas Joy #30-188

Impression Obsession Cover a card Stamp Textural Dots #CC016, inked with White pigment ink (I used Hero Arts Unicorn).

I let the white ink dry, then I applied Distress inks:  Peacock Feathers and Salty Ocean,  with a foam applicator.

Diamond Stickles for the hills of snow.

The image was colored with alcohol Markers

Greeting:  Bonnidée clear stamp set:  CL0913, Fr. Christmas Wording #6

The evergreen trees in the background were cut with a Memory Box die: Evergreen Landscape #98537

The card base is Aqua Stardream

I used White cardstock for the hills.

    Moi je trouve que tu fais bien de garder les Penny Black dans ta mire. Habituellement il y a toujours une émotion très agréable qui s’en dégage et tu la rend vraiment bien dans ton interprètation.
