i am little late in my homework but I am truly enjoying that class… There is always something to learn even for someone who’s been making cards forever like me…

Today’s lesson was to use your “classic shape dies” in a different way.

I am copying the design that Jennifer McGuire used… Using a heart to create a window at the front of the card.

The card doesn’t stay closed yet, so I had to do a “flat on the table” view, and it stills opens a little.  I’m sure it will flatten after a while…

Card size: 4 1/4 x 5 1/2″

Stamps: Art Impressions #4407 Coffee BFFs, greeting:  Allo #1  Bonnidee

Markers: Image was coloured using Copic markers

Cardstock: DCWV Os-002-00060 white with Gloss pattern

Dies: Flowers:  Memory box Fancy Blossoms 98312 and Leaves Memory box Lavish Branch 98486.  The flowers were covered with Wink of Stella clear 

The ink used for the greeting is Ranger Wendy Vecchio Archival ink Cornflower blue embossed with clear powder.

The gems in the centre of the flowers are by Queen &Co.
