Happy Birthday Julie!

April 24th was my daughter Julie’s birthday!  We went out for supper, the whole family, to a Mexican Restaurant.

A very nice celebration!

Here is a photo of us:

And this is the card that I made for her.  It is a similar card to another one I made very recently, but I love Karen Burniston’s Pop’n cut dies and I was very happy with the card I made before, so I did it again.

I used different papers, but mostly everything else is the same.

Here is the card top:

Here is the inside of the card, showing the Pop’n cut (the orange square)….

Sizzix Pop’n cut die, by Karen Burniston (visit Karen’s blog here for more info about Pop’n cut dies). The die I used is the Ornate Square.

The patterned papers are from a K & Co. pad.

Front of the card:  The patterned paper is by K& Co., the ornate frame was cut with a Spellbinders die: S4-318 Fleur de Lys square.

The pale blue Flourish is cut with a Cheery Lynn die (Sml Fanciful Flourish B117S).

The pointy leaves Flower was also cut with Cherry Lynn die.

The small flowers were cut with a Memory Box die Fancy Blossoms (98312)

The flowers were decorated with pearls (Stampin’Up) and a blue gem (Queens).

Inside of card: The pop’n cut die Ornate Square.

The flowers are all the same as for the front of the card.

The birdcage is cut with Poppy (Memory Box) die “Vintage Bird Cage” #802 and the birds were cut with a Memory Box die “Resting birds” #98527.

The curvy insert at the top of the inside was cut with a Spellbinders die: A2 Curved Borders One

I have added a bit of Stickles to the butterfly at the top of the card.  The butterfly was cut with a Memory Box dies:  Darla Butterfly #98264 and Vivienne Butterfly #98265

I think that’s it!

Thanks for visiting my blog!  Merci de votre visite.

And now that I’m back from Florida and I got rid of my horrible cold, fever and cough, I will try to blog more often!
