Clean and Simple class Day 8

Today on Clean and Simple Class, the technique was to use inks to do a single layer card.  I have trouble with single layer cards, so mine has just one little layer under the inked piece.

In the class, Jennifer McGuire showed how to make your own ink pad using reinkers.  I didn’t have all the material required to do this, so I used a multicolour ink pad that I have had for many years – I’m not sure these inkpads still exist…. It’s called Kaleidacolor and the colour is Berry Blaze.  I used a stamp set by lawn fawn called chevron Backgrops LF387.

The greeting is Hero Arts Clear stamp Year Round Sentiments  CL582, stamped in embossing ink and white powder.

The hearts are by Lifestyle crafts Nesting Hearts DC0257.  I cut the basecard heart by leaving a little area at the folded top to create a top hinge.

Here is the card:

The little heart on the greeting was punched out with Stampin’Up Hearts punch and cut out of American Craft Glitter cardstock.

Thanks for visiting my blog.  Merci de votre visite.
