Christmas Accordeon frames (Karen Burniston for Sizzix)

This summer when I went to CHA, I fell in love with a project made by Karen Burniston.  I couldn’t wait for the dies to finally arrive!!

I have tried to reproduce Karen’s project shown here:

Karen’s blog can be found here.

This is the project that I made (and I will be teaching it at my local stamping store, Bonnidée on Tuesday November 27th and Saturday December 1st).  Call the store at 514-697-1184 if you are interested in attending.

We will be making these frames:

Here is a view from above (so you can see the 3D Christmas tree):

Here is the front of the accordeon, which makes the front of the card:

This is a bit of a bulky project/card to give in a regular envelope, so I made a matching box to present to the lucky recipient.  Here is a view of the top of the box (you can see the card in the bottom of the box in the photo above):

And here is a view of the frames and the box (opened) together.

Thanks Karen Burniston for your smart creations.  I loved making this project, and because the dies do all the cutting, scoring, create the tabs etc, it is really an easy project.  Just cutting and assembling.

So if you live in Montreal and would like to join me for the class – it will be fun, I’d love to have you!!!

Thanks for visiting my blog.

Merci de votre visite.
