Love Birds Coloured card

I made this card for a friend for her daughter’s wedding.

The image is a digital image from Philomena O’Neill that I purchased many years ago. I’m not sure if it is still available…

I printed the image on my home printer in the size that I wanted and then coloured it with Copic markers.

OnLine Card class Day 4

i have time to post one last homework to the OnLine Crad class site before it’s locked up… So this is homework fo day 4: Using small dies.

I have created a background with a series of small Easter Eggs.  It didn’t turn out quite as I expected, but I used the background anyway ,to […]

OnLine card class “Stretch your dies” Day 3

i am little late in my homework but I am truly enjoying that class… There is always something to learn even for someone who’s been making cards forever like me…

Today’s lesson was to use your “classic shape dies” in a different way.

I am copying the design that Jennifer McGuire used… Using a heart […]

Watercoloured garden

Another Online card class Clean and Simple 4 card

The technique is to ink your background with Die ink, then stamp your image over the background with Versamark ink and the image will appear as a white shadow on the […]

Clean and Simple 4 class Day 2

I loved this technique shown by Debbie Hughes for the OnLine classes Clean and Simple 4 Day 2. It’s called Faux Paper Cutting and it’s a “collage” of pieces of die cut shapes. She did hers in a heart and I tried mine in a circle. It’s very therapeutic… almost like making puzzles…

Here’s my […]

Halloween treat bag

I made a few special Halloween treat bags for my little neighbours. I used the pumpkin die cut from Memory Box to cut a piece of “jute” card stock. (This pumpkin is almost 4 inches in diameter).
