Card made with matching die and stamp

Here is another card I made for the Holiday Card Class on Online Card Classes with Jennifer and Kristina.

Another subject was to use stamps with matching die.

I used this new stamp and die from Hero Arts and Sizzix.  A beautiful large snowflake.  If you know me, you must know by now that I love snowflakes!!! (and snowmen… 🙂 )

So here is the card:

Here is a close-up view of the embossing:

The snowflake is by Hero Arts S5605 and the die is by Sizzix (Big and Small snowflakes DI044)

The snowflake was embossed with Platinum embossing powder and I put a clear gem in the center.

The cardstocks are Bazzill (turquoise and red) and the white for the Greeting is Stardream Crystal.

I mounted the turquoise cardstock over the image with Stampin’Up Dimentionals foam dots.

The greeting is by Stampin’Up (Voeux Indémodables 129531) and was stamped in Red (Ranger Archival Vermillion) and embossed with clear powder.

It was slightly curled and partly mounted on foam dots to add dimensions.

The little snowflakes on the turquoise cardstock and the greeting are a mini “G” stamp set bought at Micheals.

The corners of the card (at the bottom) were rounder with a 1/2″ corner rounder (WeRMemory Keepers blue corner rounder).

The card is 5 x 7 (so the snowflake is quite large).

Thanks for visiting my blog.  Merci de visiter mon blog.
